Lukashenko to attend CSTO summit in Kyrgyzstan on 27-28 November

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will be on a working trip to Kyrgyzstan on 27-28 November. The Belarusian head of state is to take part in a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The summit will start with a narrow-participation session to be followed by a plenary session that will be attended by heads of the foreign ministries, defense ministries and security councils of the member states.

Aleksandr Lukashenko will lay out Belarus’ vision of strengthening international and regional security and its various segments. A number of documents are to be signed at the session of the Collective Security Council.

On the sidelines of the summit, the Belarusian head of state will hold meetings and talks with his foreign counterparts.
