Mogilev region won in the Republican sports contest of health workers
Yesterday, May 30, in Pinsk, the results of the 13th Republican Olympics of health workers were summed up. The first place was taken by the Mogilev region. The second - in the Vitebsk region and the third - in the Gomel region. The winners were awarded cash prizes.
Recall that eight teams from all regions of the republic, and this is about four hundred healthcare workers, for three days competed in 10 sports disciplines: athletics, billiard sports, volleyball (for men, women), darts, mini-football. The event takes place every two years and its main goal is to popularize a healthy lifestyle. At the closing ceremony, Vyacheslav Shilo, the chairman of the Republican Committee of the BPRZ, noted:
- In the difficult conditions of the pandemic, athletes from health care institutions have shown their best results. Ahead is the FPB interdisciplinary sports contest, in which the BPRZ team will definitely take part, which means that you need to actively train in order to perform with dignity.
The chairman of the BPRZ expressed gratitude to the host party - the Pinsk City Executive Committee and the Polesie State University, as well as the specialists of the Republican Committee of the Industry Trade Union for the high organization of the event. To the fans - for their active support.
