Senator: New Constitution will be the basis for Belarus' further development
The new Constitution will become the basis for the further development of the country, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Kalina Kaputskaya told BelTA.
“The new Constitution should become the basis for further development of the country, create conditions for political activity of citizens and determine mechanisms for preserving the most important values for the Belarusian people. Participation in the referendum and support of the amendments to the Constitution will indicate that the agreement between the state and the society is signed on the conditions of preservation of the sovereignty, historical, cultural and spiritual heritage, social orientation of the state policy and true people's power,” said Kalina Kaputskaya.
The senator stressed that there comes a responsible moment for the future generation. “The basic law must still undergo public discussion and comprehension of its prospects by each citizen to become a real foundation of our well-being,” she added.
