Vasilevskaya reveals her emotions during awards ceremony

For me the title of Hero of Belarus is indeed a great honor, Cosmonaut, Hero of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya shared in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel on 12 April, BelTA has learned.

"This is the most important state award in our country. I was overwhelmed. It's nice to know that I can do something for my country. I was overcome with emotions because I didn't experience any sucg moments like this before in my life," Marina Vasilevskaya said.

When asked about what the president said during the awards ceremony, the cosmonaut noted: "He said: don't cry, Marina, everything is fine. We have a lot of work ahead of us.” I understand this very well and take this very seriously.
