Uganda interested in Belarus' experience in agriculture
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uganda to Russia Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige in Moscow on 5 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
The parties outlined possible ways of promoting trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Uganda. As a positive and well-proven tool for its development, Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi gave an example of the successful work of joint economic commissions with other countries of the region.
"We discussed in detail cooperation in agriculture. The Ambassador of Uganda showed interest in Belarus' experience in developing the agricultural sector, primarily grain crops planting. He stressed the importance of this topic for Uganda. The Belarusian Ambassador invited his colleague to visit the Belagro international agricultural exhibition in Minsk in June 2023," the press service said.
The parties discussed the cooperation in the manufacturing sector, pharmaceuticals and medical services, the development of the legal framework for cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
"The ambassadors of Belarus and Uganda noted with satisfaction the friendly nature of relations between the two countries," the diplomatic mission added.
