A total of 1.53 million Belarusians traveled locally last year. Some 1.401 million of them opted for one-day trips (excursions), BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.

In 2022, there were 1,203 organizations offering tourism activities in Belarus. More than 2 million organized tourists took advantage of their services.

In 2022, an estimated 348,600 organized tourists, citizens of Belarus, traveled abroad, while the number of foreign tourists in Belarus made up 143,000. Belarusians stayed abroad for eight days on average, while foreign tourists spent roughly five days in Belarus last year.

In 2022, there were 592 hotels and similar accommodation facilities in the country. They provided services to 1.898 million people, including 1.101 million Belarusians. A total of 474 health and recreational organizations of Belarus welcomed 934,200 visitors, including 785,000 Belarusians.

According to the Belarusian Taxes and Duties Ministry, the number of agroecotourism accommodation options amounted to 3,043 facilities in 2022. Last year they provided services to 559,800 visitors, including 540,500 Belarusians.
